Guidance curriculum is offered in Tolland Public Schools in Kindergarten through high school. The goal of the guidance education program is for students to gain personal skills such as responsibility and respect. A character program exists in grades K through two. Classes take place in grades three and four. A DARE program is offered in fifth grade and a ROPE program in sixth. Individual classes are infused into the curriculum by guidance counselors.
