Homework assignments will usually be a reinforcement of a skill introduced in class. Homework should take about 10-15 minutes. In addition they will need to read for at least 15 minutes and practice basic math facts for 5 minutes every night. They can read independently or with someone. To help with organization of homework assignments, each child has a homework folder and an agenda that should accompany the homework to and from school. Students will be responsible for recording assignments in their agenda.
Please check the agenda daily. There may also be notes from the teacher.
